My lovely self manageable robot… DROBO 2G 😉 Setup was easy. Just plug & play. Even a kid could set it up =) I can barely hear the Drobo fan. Loving it!

I have replicated your problem with high speed motor drive issues. We are looking into the problem. Your 608xxxx unit is a Plus 2.0. Your 609xxxx unit is a Plus 2.1 unit. They should not have the issue you describe, so we are working on a correction.
As far as Transmit Only mode, the following should help:
PLUS 2.0 Normal blink rate – 1 blink every 2 seconds
PLUS 2.0 TX Only blink rate – 1 blink every 1 second
PLUS 2.1 Normal blink rate – 1 blink every 3.5 seconds
PLUS 2.1 TX Only blink rate – 1 blink every 1.75 seconds
